Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears
Sunday March 1 @ 4:00 for 4.30pm – 6:45 pm
In her debut cinematic adventure, detective-extraordinaire the Hon. Miss Phryne Fisher embarks on an exotic 1920s’ globe-trotting romp of mystery and mayhem from the deserts of the Negev, to darkened back alleys of London and glamorous manor-house ballrooms. After helping a young Bedouin girl, Shirin Abbas, escape from unjust imprisonment in Jerusalem, Miss Fisher begins to unravel a mystery from the Great War about a missing priceless jewel, an ancient curse, and the truth behind the suspicious disappearance of Shirin’s forgotten tribe.
The screening will be introduced by Fiona Eagger from Every Cloud Productions and Kerry Greenwood – now OAM – author of the acclaimed Miss Fisher series.
