Dear Monster – Author Talk with Amanda Howard

Serial killers, baby murderers, violent criminals and psychopaths.  Monsters. They reside in the darkness, the evil side of the human psyche, yet they also live amongst us. They are our brothers, our sisters, our children and our parents. They are still human. Are they evil, are they mad or just simply bad?

Crime author Amanda Howard has interviewed many of the worst murderers from across the globe, from cult leader Charles Manson, to Chicago Ripper Edward Spreitzer.  She has interviewed Ivan Milat for more than 20 years and was the last person to speak to serial killer David Birnie.  She receives gifts, letters and some very bizarre requests and in return she gains insight into the minds of violent predators.

Amanda will be speaking at Paracon Australia 2017 and will share the letters, artwork,  cards and gifts she has received from some of the world’s most brutal killers as she explains her life amongst the monsters.
