Get a taste of SheKilda3 with Sue Turnbull on the TV crime drama

It criminal how early a girl has to get up to promote Sisters in Crime and its SheKilda3 25th anniversary convention on 19 November.

Professor Sue Turnbull, a convenor of Sisters in Crime from 1994-2016, got up at 4am Friday 11 November to speak to Rod Quinn on ABC Radio Overnights, about the TV crime drama, a subject on which she is a world authority.

Here’s the podcast in case you were asleep at the time: http://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/overnights/crime-literature-and-tv-crime-drama/8015818

Better still, book now for SheKilda3, at St Kilda Town Hall and listen to Sue in person. Sue is compering a session called Writing the Wrong: justice on the screen with a panel of industry experts – Hilary Bonney, Fiona Eagger, Kelly Lefever, and Ann Turner.

If you have an idea for crime on the screen, you can book in for speed pitching to film and producers: Fiona Eagger (Every Cloud Productions), Karin Altmann (Scriptworks) and Sue Maslin (Film Art Media).

Bookings for SheKilda3 through Eventbrite close midnight Wednesday 16 November. After that, you can buy individual ticket sessions at St Kilda Town Hall (excludes catering but there a ton of fabulous cafes nearby).
