Jennifer Burbidge Short Story Award now taking submissions

The Jennifer Burbidge Short Story Award returned to its Williamstown origins in 2021 and is awarded to a short story by an Australian writer on the theme of disability. The Burbidge Award was established in 2001 by Mary and Andrew Burbidge to honour the life of their eldest daughter, Jennifer, who died aged 21. Mary has funded the award through royalties from her memoir Forever Baby.
Stories must be 3000 words or less. The winning entry will receive $500, and a runner-up will receive $250.
