Alison Knight: Author talk, Mentone Public Library, Melbourne

Born in Manchester, Alison Knight was educated at both Birmingham University (undergraduate degree in English) and Manchester University (postgraduate degree on Henry James).Since 1983, she has been based in Melbourne, immersing herself in the Peridot Theatre from 2007 and from 2016 at the Melbourne Writers’

After working as an English teacher, she moved into active involvement with community theatre.

Alison continues to serve as researcher, writer and performer  for the highly regarded, Australian historical aviation and educational community theatre company Legends of the Skies Theatre Inc.

Peter Stone marked her first venture into crime fiction. She has written Another crime fiction novel, The Close, plus an anthology of short stories

Alison continues to ride the roller-coaster of Australian aviation heights and the deep underbellies of the lowest of the low.
