2022 ASA/HQ Commercial Fiction Prize opens

The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) and HQ, a publishing division of
HarperCollins, are thrilled to announce that the 2022 ASA/HQ Commercial
Fiction Prize is now open for submissions.

It is offered for an unpublished manuscript, and the winner will receive a
publishing contract with HQ, with a $10,000 advance against royalties. The
runner-up will receive $500 and a year’s membership with the ASA.
Submissions open on 22 September and will close on 1 November 2021 at
5pm AEDT. The shortlist and winner will be announced in March 2022.

ASA Members: first submission free, subsequent submission $25
Non-members: $65 per submission
