TAF2021 | CSI: TASMANIA: Tasmania’s International Crime and Mystery Festival
The recent snap lockdown in southern Tasmania sadly meant TAF needed to suspend its plans for a live audience in early November. The silver lining?
A number of discussion panels planned for a live audience will now feature at the TAF2021 | CSI: TASMANIA Digital Weekend program, alongside an already stellar line-up of interviews with Australian and international superstars of crime and mystery fiction. This means you can join in for a super-sized online festival over the last weekend of November.
The program will be kicked off by Tartan Noir Queen, Val McDermid. Other overseas authors include Ann Cleeves, Liz Nugent, Atlin Merrick, Vanda Symon, and Naomi Hirahara. From Australia are Candice Fox, Sulari Gentill, Katherine Kovacic, Angela Savage, L J M Owen, Poppy Gee, Angela Meyer, Karen Brooks, L A Larkin, Narrelle Harris, Alison Alexander, Meg Keneally, Anita Heiss, Sarah Thornton, Debra Oswald, Lindy Cameron, and Tansy Rayner Roberts. The full program includes fabulous male authors such as Garry Disher.
The festival includes 15+ in-depth Author Interviews and Author Discussion Panels (available on demand to 2022); 4 festival-wide Book Parties (replays available on demand to 2022); 13 exclusive Book Clubs with the authors of the books; 7 Writing Mini Masterclasses; and 35+ crime and mystery authors.
