The Knife is Feminine: Discovering Charlotte Jay
Hosted by Melbourne Library Service

In 2019 who has heard of Charlotte Jay in this her centenary year? Discover an author who wrote crime and mystery books set in locations around the world. Celebrate her life and works of this forgotten Australian author, and find out why The Knife is Feminine.

Sisters in Crime, Carmel Shute and Katherine Kovacic, will be in conversation with Emeritus Professor Chris Browne, Program Director of Melbourne Rare Book Week. Actor Abbe Holmes will read from Jay’s work.
Carmel Shute interviewed Jay in 1992. Read the interview here.
