Cobargo is the Scene of the Crime

October 7, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - October 9, 2016 @ 2:30 pm

Free – $100

Four WindsA quirky writers and music festival celebrating Australian female crime writers.

Eight intriguing women of Australia’s crime writing scene will be in the small town of Cobargo in the far south of NSW this October. Over a weekend, through a series of panel discussions, the authors will delve into the craft of writing beguiling plot twists, blood and gore, history and place. Novels include crimes set in Cairns with an Aboriginal detective, sea change mysteries set on the coast of Victoria and a true story of an almost lethal attraction with an abusive partner. Adding to the mysteries will be music from Canberra’s Griffyn Ensemble with guest artists from Scotland’s Red Note Ensemble. This is a quirky and intimate writers and music festival in the small working town of Cobago (population 638) and a great chance to see favourite writers up close and discover new books.
